Paper Plane

For our maths the whole class were put into groups. In my group there was Mere, Afu, Silivia, Thomas, Sylis and Harry. We have picked Thomas's plane because it flew the furthurest and we also picked Thomas to fly the plane. Our group won the finals because our plane flew the furthurest. It was really compet

itive with the other groups.Our three measurement were 11.20, 14.00 and 14.01. If you can see the furthurest was 14.01. We were very proud of our results and our good collaboration. 

Maths Competition

Today for maths we went on quizezz which is a maths site. The whole class went on the site and we were competitive. We were so competitive to be at least be first, second or third. This really helped us with our maths. We had a lot of fun to start with but then went competitive between 2 people. The equations were really easy but went harder and harder. We had to work in partner and I was with Victoria. We at least got over 14th place.

Quizizz

In LS2 we were practising recalling our timetable only in 10 seconds. We were racing against the whole class. I came 26 in the first game and came 30 in the second game. This game showed us what we had to work on in our timetable. The times table we were using was our 5 timetable. We had a lot of fun but it was pretty hard answering our 5 timetable in 10 seconds.

Decimals

Today we were learning decimals. After our task we were sent off to play a decimal game. My score for this was 280 and I have successfully finished all the rounds. I have learnt that in decimals it doesn't have any ones. The game that I played was called place value pirates.

Today for maths I made a graph based on my blog post. We have to make the graph about how many blog posts did we do since we started blogging. I started blogging in 2013 and I have been low in blogging until 2016 I have been updating my blog every week. My goals for updating my is to keep up with my learning and to don't keep of track. 

5 timetable to solve our problem

Today in maths my partner and I have created a D.L.O that explains using your 5 timetables to answer your question. We have put 3 equations and broken it apart so it is easier.

Mathletics

For maths we played a game called Mathletics, I partnered up with Victoria for the game. There was 24 question that we have to answer in time to come first, second or third. The people that came first was Juanita and Evelyn also the team that came second was Cecilia and Jessie and the people that came third was Victoria and I. We have to run down to the end of court then back up again then answer the question. It was really fun and Thank you to Miss Donaldson for keeping an eye on us.

I had made a DLO on How I feel about solving maths problems.  This was one of my can do's to finish of. How I feel about solving maths problems is that I feel like I am learning something new every time.

For my maths I had to practice my ordering numbers. I used my maths skills to complete my ordering Number. My maths is 17 out of 18. I still need to practice a little to improve in my maths.

This is my graph showing what LS2 did in there holiday. We did this activity to learn more about each other. As you can see in the graph the beach and out of Auckland have the most votes. Nesi and I said what the possible reason is.

Multiplication - 8x

This is my multiplication I had to choose which 8 times table I was stuck on. I have to learn my 8 x 12 because I am really stuck on it. This maths workout can help me with my 8 x 12 every time I am stuck.

Vending machine problem

I used my place value or my fraction knowledge to solve this problem.   This is another problem I came up with: There are 6 cheesy chips in a vending machine. The other 5/4 are chicken chips. How many chicken chips are there in the vending machine? can you solve this using your place value.

Problem Solving

This problem is very hard we had to see how can we get the fox, chicken and the corn over the river but the bad thing is that the fox eats the chicken and the chicken eats the corn. I've solved the problem solving it was a bit hard but I solved it.

Food diary

In this work we had to learn what is the healthiest plate. Me and my partners think this is the healthy plate for dinner. We think this should be the healthy plate because there are lots of veges and fruits with a little bit of meat also it has rice.

This is my 7 Time Table on a Google draw. I had to repeat it over and over again 10 times. I had to repeat it because I need to learn my 7 Times Tables quickly. I really need to learn my 7 Times Tables to help me on my maths.
