Should we or shouldn't change the flag

LI: To make an informed choice (Based on the information)
Image result for nz flag
In LS2 we had to make an informed choice on the NZ flags. Our informed choice was if we would want to change the flag or not. We had all been split up into groups to use a T-Chart on if we should change the flag or not. We had found great information about why we should or shouldn't change the flag. As a class we had gave our own information about the flags. In LS2 we had came up with a lot of information on the NZ flag.

Why we shouldn't change the flag is because:
It was a piece of history, it has a meaning behind it, it could disrespect the soldiers who had fought under it, it had been in our country for long time, it was representing the heritage, freedom and independence.

Why we should change the flag is because:
It is similar to the Australian flag, We are not part of the British Empire, It is a new generation, Many flags have the Union Jack and The colors represent New Zealand.

As a class we all had to make our own choice if we should or shouldn't change the flag.

Leadership Quilities

My Leadership Qualities is about the leader I look up to and why she inspires me. The leader that inspires me is Oprah because she never backed down on what she wanted to do also when she was rich she built schools for girls in South Africa to carry on with their learning. She had been through a tough time when she was a child like being abused but she has became a leader to everyone and also inspires women not to do.
