Run, Jump And Throw

Today for Kiwi Kids sport we have run, jump and throw. It was our second week of run, jump and throw. We played a little game of octopus just for a warm up. we learnt about long distance sprinting. There are 5 basic skills for running. You start of with looking ahead, light feet, stand straight and tall, using your, swing your arms cheek to cheek, bent elbows, keep your body still and run straight. For high knees it mostly needs leg movement. The difference between hurdle relays and long distant relays is that hurdle relays says on your marks - set - go, and long distant relays says on your mark - then bang!.  The position for long distant is that you stand one metre behind the start line for the beginning, then you use the opposite arm to your leg that you are starting with, and look straight.
